Our Committee
A small number of volunteer church members together with two co-optees form the committee that runs the the pre-school. The pre-school committee is responsible for
- managing the group finances
- staff recruitment
- liaising with Ofsted
- ensuring ongoing development and adherence to policies (maintaining a high quality service)
- ensuring the pre-school works in partnership with the children and their parents/carers and community
The church members are elected to the committee at the church Annual General Meeting held in March of each year and the co-opted parents around the beginning of the September term.
An annual report together with the audited accounts are produced each year in November. These form part of the Church's annual report.
The pre-school is a registered charity and the committee act as Trustees within the Charity Commission rules.
